Are your parents independent or do they need help? I ask because I knew a blind girl at my college who was never independent at all it wasnt because she was blind that I was shocked, it was because her mum was also blind so I would of thought she would do taught her how to handle the world without sight. (I also watch blind youtubers like molly Burke and shes very independent)
