I just created an account to post a question here and really hope it gets answered.
I was reading your responses about you becoming "dehumanized" towards everything you see. I REALLY want to be involved in the medical field but this part scares me most. I empathize heavily with people and don't know how I could handle someone dying at my hands during surgery or seeing someone suffer and knowing that I can't help them. Sorry for writing a novel but it is a question that has been heavy on my heart for awhile now.
