At one point we were driving along the highway to Tehran, when a family pulled up next to us (our small car with loads of bags didn't exactly race along...) and the driver leant fully out of his window, pouring us tea from a teapot on his dashboard, whilst his wife in the passenger seat continued to steer the car whilst reading a book.

...has to be up there.

I have a headache just thinking back on grad school. Congrats.

How difficult was it getting into grad school with the grades you had?

Straight up: Advice to anyone applying for graduate school? (I see often this question in academic reddits.)

What are the chances you'll leave academia and never come back and be a happier person for it?

He's just an ultraconservative with a technocratic streak that he's showing off to pull on reddit's strings. Hopeless, America, just hopeless.

I laughed. Then I shed a tear. I hear ya.

For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

You're so confused, pal, but thanks for stopping by to lift up the things from your program you know redditors want to hear in order to drum up some attention.

Anyone actually read this guy's program? The truth is he's a rightwinger posing as a progressive. His website presents his plans without any studied game-plan. It's all talk and no experience, no method, no hands-on knowledge. He acts as if his plan will be achieved with the least resistance once he's elected. Regardless which parties you've voted for, stop buying this bullshit, American voters.

What terrifies Mr. Kelly most at night is that creeping insight that voters don't know whether they can actually trust him or any politican, that he is no different than all other the other overfed, self-righteous doctrinaires in US Congress.

Stop sponging on the collective unrest you technocratic, faux-progressive, neo-conservative leech.
