It's a pretty common misconception that blind people see black. I don't have vision in my left eye (detached retina), and I can tell you that we quite literally don't "see" anything. Imagine losing your sense of smell; you just wouldn't smell anything. That sense is gone. The same goes for vision loss: you have lost the sense of sight. Even seeing black when you close your eyes requires vision.

And it was really amazing.

I think we all know Matt dies the most, let's be honest.

Oh! I meant which characters wound up dead in players' first playthroughs. In which case, I'm guessing Matt is way up there.
