Why is upholding US law wrong? You realize that law does not equate to morality and ethics, we've progressed, but we are not perfect and you'd be a special kind of fool to think our legal system is all moral now. It used to be US law to return fugitive slaves. It used to be law that women could not vote. Do you see anything wrong with upholding those laws? Obviously you do, and you should also realize that some laws today are immoral as well. Don't ever equate law to morality. Our legal system has more holes than Swiss cheese, this is why we make up 4.5% of world population but have almost a quarter of all the world's inmates.

Do you ever stop and think that some of the stuff you do is not morally justified in any sense and you continue to do it because the government that grants you the artificial authority to do so is the one giving you your check?
