I bought a cheap violin about 5 years ago to see if I could learn. I have a background in music so I learned pretty quickly. But I knew I needed a professional teacher.

My interest is more towards "fiddle playing" versus violin.

Should I look specifically for a fiddle teacher? Would a violin teacher me put off by this?

In short I prefer country and Cajun style playing. Not interested in learning classical violin. Hope I'm making sense here. Thanks!

I recently started to realize that my left nostril seems to be always at 50%. It never clears up. I think this could be the reason that I never sleep well.

Would my GP be able to diagnose if I have an actual issue or would I need to see a specialist?
