First off, congrats on the record. It's quite an achievement!
How good/bad was the course? I scheduled a trip and visited Bonneville last year only to learn that Speedweek was cancelled for the second year in a row, this time for poor salt conditions (IIRC it was quite thin in areas). I've been following some of the efforts of the "Save the salt" group and it seems as though they are finally making some progress. The salt flats are a national treasure and they deserve to be preserved.
