Your cousin has every right to get pissed at you for wearing digital camouflage. Same right you have to get pissed at whoever you want, for whatever you want. No one gets to police anyone else's emotions, only their actions, and even then only when they infringe on the law or someone else's rights.
I've yet to see a veteran physically force a civilian out of a uniform, and I watch a lot of the Stolen Valor videos. I challenge you to produce a source.
Wearing a complete uniform, in such a manner that would suggest that you were once a member of the armed forces that wear that uniform(with unit insignia, ranks, etc.), is distasteful. Wearing camouflage for it's intended purpose, or for sports, with a clear indication that you are NOT pretending to be a servicemember, is not offensive, and I would argue against a veteran who gave you shit for it.
I'm not touching any of the opinion bits that come after the word "murderers." You're entitled to those opinions, and part of why I serve is to protect your inviolable right to voice them, whether I agree with them or not.

While investigating, did you learn about Team Rubicon's work in Haiti? If so, what was your impression?
