Hey, thanks for responding... I was at work all day and only caught reddit for a moment.

In his testimony to House Science, Bolden seemed to be saying that the need for LEO launch from US meant a focus away from SLS to Commercial Crew. The Committee rightfully pressed that funds diverted from SLS would push the project back from date projections that have already been pushed back following past funding changes. Bolden seemed to press back that SLS was not needed now so funds to SLS now would not be the wisest spending. The Huntsville media is awash with opinion pieces on the need for greater SLS spending to maintain job security in the city.

It seems, though, from your response that my interpretation of SLS's development in relation to budgetary focus was incorrect. If you guys are still around to reply, I'd love to hear your thoughts but will be looking more in to it myself.

I'm also curious about how allowing SLS a longer timeline to operations has changed the program dynamics.

I really like your answer here. I'm trying to get the Mina X-1 robotic exoskeleton to help me along after both of my knees are replaced. I'm actually really looking forward to being kinda mecha looking. I'm hoping they'll let me do a DuPont Mirage wrap on it.

I'm a newly disabled young woman. I have lost full use of my left leg following a knee repair surgery that didn't go well. I'm having to use crutches or a cane (supposed to be crutches, but I can barely even fit the cane into my lifestyle) and may be looking at a wheelchair some day.

What can you say about getting used to equipment meant to add independence to our lives? I'm glad to have them - I wouldn't ever leave my house otherwise - but at the same time I feel like there's this ball and chain attached to my life. I'm just really having trouble learning how to make this a seamless part of my routine. Did you have the same feelings initially with your eyegaze system? What have you learned to help it become a part of you?
