To everyone down-voting them for their religion, think of it this way.

if you are in prison for 18-24 years, you would go insane if you did not believe in some higher power to drive you through the bad, i think religion played a big role in letting them hold on and eventually get out.

Edit: I'm an atheist by the way, just to clarify my personal opinion, but i'm not a militant atheist, if i was in jail for 18 years for false imprisonment and with no belief in any higher power, i don't know what i'd do tbh.

You seem to be really involved in changing people's perspective about animals,as a dedicated meat-eater, i'd love if it you could give me some quick points or explanation as to why i should be vegan.

I'm always open to try new things, but usually the vegans i encounter just project the holier than thou attitude and never tell me about stuff when i ask them.

I'm sure it's more complex than just saying "Oh we don't want to kill chickens because they get hurt!"

Throw a few solid points at me!
