If you would ever do the MitM Turkey monkfish thing, you should consider it for thanksgiving. As it was just a part of a larger thanksgiving dinner.

In my mind (due to misconceptions being spread about vikings) vikings are the raiding warring type. I did however hear somewhere that they would trade with countries as far as modern day Turkey.

So how much trading with other cultures did they do, and how was their relation with those cultures? Did they have good foreign relations due to trading or were they met with hostility based on their raiding?

Hello Mathias,

Living in Belgium, we were thought about the work by Father Damien in school combined with a serving of stereotypical views (talking roughly 30 years ago, things may have changed). As an adult however I must admit that I still have the same stereotypical view of the disease. ie: Leprosy leads to people losing limbs, blistering skin, super infectious, etc...

How does the disease compare to the stereotypes? Is there much truth to them, or is it more a case of sensationalism and misinformation?

Hi Khal,

I'm one of those people that always needs some form of pressure on me in the form of a blanket irregardless of the temperature. I have looked into weighted blankets before, but I often see them described as filled with glass or plastic beads. As a person with ASD, i have sensory issues and one of them being sound. So I always wondered if the beads in your blankets cause any sound at all?

Just to be specific, I do mean any sound no matter how silent. I have tossed out pillows with micro beads and other similar fillings because the sound drove me insane.
