Most plaintiff's lawyers focus on helping victims injured in car accidents. While that's the most common type of case for many different reasons, are there any other practice areas that are timely and that you'd recommend for a new solo practitioner to specialize in to help set themselves apart from the crowd?

Thanks! Very true on the car accidents. Dog bites are pretty tough because aggressive breeds may not be covered by insurance, and owners that have these dogs and let them run at large don't typically have the best insurance to begin with. This would vary by state I believe.

I think the way to go would be to specialize in a certain type of traffic accident or auto subculture, as I've seen the "rough and tumble" image of various motorcycle accident attorneys do very well. People connect better and trust those that are similar to them and have experience with their specific problem.
