Not OP but I'm a zookeeper and we have two male ostriches. Feather plucking is common in lots of bird species and can be caused by lots of reasons, stress, malnutrition. If she was a new ostrich it was just her way of adjusting to the new habitat and the behavior will probably fizzle out once she adjusts. Ostriches have very small brains and are very unintelligent. Their emotional range is very small, I wouldn't even say that they feel "happy" or "sad" everything to them is an immediate response to something directly happening to them in that moment. Our Ostriches certainly don't "like" us, but you can tell they are used to us and they recognize us as food bringers, they don't act aggressively unless something prompts it. Hope that helps!

How often are the 'locations' a facade or built set pieces? How much of it is real?

Any good practices/medications for treating depression caused from an overstimulated brain v.s. an understimulated? I am currently in neurofeedback therapy, have tried mediating, and am listening to a crap ton of podcasts about mindfulness, I just want better methods to snap out of it when I'm in a bad spiral.
