I'm late to the party but I really hop you will see this:

Are NPCs ever a possibility for LiF:YO? Will LiF:YO support modding?

Similar to how ARMA 2 servers work you can create scripts (not modding) to change how the server works. It would be awesome if servers could use mission files like we do in arma 2!
