I had a coach complain about my partner and I while we were working a softball 14u. The league I was working didn't have a lot of 14u teams so they invite some travel ball teams to join.

So this coach of this travel ball team, who was playing our local team, kept accusing us of nepotism essentially. He didn't like how tight my strike zone was and my partner got some of the girls on his team leading off before the pitcher pitched the ball. He kept complaining even after we loosened up for both teams (including opening the strike zone some).

There was either an inning or so left and he got heated so he walked up to my partner and I between inning and told us how we are "f-ing idiots." I was gonna toss him but I realized how much was time was left (90 minutes or 7 innings) so I pulled him to the side, told him to watch his language cause I really didn't want to send him to the parking lot when his girls are losing and when they have an inning to go.

What do you mean by "give one back?"

Have you ever done softball? And if so, do you think the parents and coaches are even worse there?

From my experience I would say that it is a resounding yes.
