For anyone that reads this and is scared to death to fly with there animal, you should be.

That being said, my wife and I move often and on our most recent move we asked the gate agent to check up on our dog when we got to the gate. They were polite and helpful. As we boarded, we asked the stewardess' to let us know when our dog was loaded. They asked the Captain and he got on the intercom to tell us before he let them close the door (we said we couldn't get on if our pup didn't make it, they were all smiles). They seemed happy that someone actually cared about their animal enough to ask. Made three connecting flights doing this and our dog made it safe and sound.

Edit: for clarity, he's 50 lbs. and 8 or 9 years old (rescued, so we don't know exactly). So when I say pup, I mean he's the love of our life, not that he's physically a puppy!

What an odd origin story...

Bruce: "I have to give myself a blood transfusion with my own blood!"

Raaaaaawr!

RuPaul: "Hey grrrl, it's time for the Snatch Game!"

How are you dealing with this situation now? Have you noticed a major decline in sales because of it? I've only seen 6 movies in a theatre in the last 8 years due to the loud talking, cell phone answering crowds.

If my grandparents hadn't been around to damn near raise me I certainly wouldn't be where I am today. Hats off to all the grandparents who play parent and do a damn good job!
