I'm curious about your new book. What's your opinion of 'mission vacations'? I've done them in the past, and found them very fulfilling. I wonder if visiting the Holy Land will have a similar impact (I guess you can't really answer that)

what did you think of the Scene magazine story a few weeks ago?

yeah, pretty much. Over spring break, I went to Appalachia to help people rebuild their homes. I've shrugged off traditional pilgrimages, because I find more fulfillment in people than places. But I'm older now, you know?
