The five weeks he spent on that Malaysian airliner really ruined him for me. I don't know if that was his decision, but if it was he's a terrible journalist.

Putting that much energy into useless news that costs nothing to cover will eventually kill CNN - it saves $ but fools no one.

To be fair, Islam has a few very tough passages, more than Christianity.

One that struck me was when Muhammed had a naysayer, 'Asma' bint Marwan', assassinated for blasphemous songs and poetry. He did similar things several times.

Of course all other religions have had their monsters, but Muhammad did some things that don't stand up today as peaceful at all.
