It can feel like religion and politics are more like supporting a football team in the States than adopting a certain philosophical/political position.

Brilliant. That's exactly what it is like.

This is probably one of the most enjoyable IAMAs I've ever read. Thank you for being a true performer, athlete, and gentleman.

Did you ever work with Jimmy "The Superfly" Snuka? He was the first wrestler I ever met, and I didn't even know it at the time. He was incredibly nice to me, and I only knew who he was after the fact.

Thank you. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that could steal my hearing and eyesight as I get older (or it could kill me!). Your attitude of, "I'm me, and this is part of me, and not a disability!" makes things less scary for me.

The way I look at it is this: Aang couldn't be the only one who passed away. And Sokka was as heroic as Aang. In many ways, they matured as people together, the most powerful bender, and the most powerful non bender (in my mind). It is fitting two sides of the same coin pass on so the next generation can be taught.

It's what helps me through my own sadness, thinking this way.

All these baseball movies, not one episode about hotdogs or popcorn or any of that.

Hmm. How about When Harry Met Sally's "I'll have what she's having" pastrami MADE FROM SCRATCH. Or is 14 days brining and then smoking too long to prep for an episode?
