Your point about special effects is really interesting. Given that special effects have reached that point, do you think there's likely going to be some sort of backlash leading to a return to character-driven storytelling?

Does it frustrate you that editors get so little recognition given the huge amount of shaping a movie that you do?

In your experience, how hands-on are directors with the editing process and what is the power dynamic like in that situation?

Much has been written about the lack of women in the film industry in terms of directing and acting. Have you experienced any discrimination in your role?

Lots of people have said that satire is "dead" as a result of Trump, Farage, Brexit, etc. Do you believe this is the case? Is it harder than before to find a comic take on public figures?

Are you more interested in witty headlines or sharp gags in the copy? Do you find that people just won't click unless the headline is gold?
