My dentists office put TVs in the...I don't know what to call them..."operating rooms"(places for regular cleanings etc). "Tilt your head back more" "But then I can't see the tv!!"

She was mean but knew she was and if you proved yourself, she would be respect you.

I've had bosses like this in the past, and they were my favorite kind of boss. It's great when you don't get along on a personal level, but can still get along just fine on a professional level. It's better than having a boss with no spine = /
