I'm curious, can you ask your team that question and see the response? Personally I think you're confounding the issue by implying the future state is jargon-heavy and/or unable to be articulated. It's actually a simple question, fundamentally no different from "where do you see yourself in 5yrs?".

It works both ways, in all previous cases, while a period of unrest caused issues, the world was better off. It's conceited to think AI would change this, that humans would be unable to find another job or adapt.

It's also odd to think this isn't something we should be striving for...

The fundamental idea of blue/white collar industrial replacement. Though that fundamentally changed society/farmers, putting many out of a job, it didn't negatively impact us as a society.

This is the exact same with AI/ML, and fearing/designing it to work alongside us rather than replace us is... bad/inefficient. I also feel it's very poor form to not consider the impact developing a tool would have.
