Oh man, I wish I had that power. I drove a Cummings 444 and it was pretty good, but nothing like what you drove.
We had an old water truck with something like a Cummings 315 (can't quite remember exactly what it was), but it had a Pyrometer in the instrument cluster that we had to watch. If you pushed too hard, that thing would start to heat up and you would have to back off until it came back down again. Every so often, they would put logging bunks on that damn thing and we would have to drive it while our trucks were being worked on. It had manual steering (armstrong steering) and was a beast to drive. We called it the penalty box cause you usually had to drive it when you fucked up your own rig.

I love twin sticks. I drove a six and a four and loved the combination of gearing available. We also had a truck with a 13-speed with a 4-speed brownie. That truck had some gears!

I see you are a man of good taste. Former log hauler here from NorCal.
Edit: Drove a T800 and loved it!

Mix of logs and Cozad lowboy. You are running with a log dolly now?
Edit: Just noticed your picture. You have a turkey rack on?

My trick was to listen to some conservative talk show host on the radio. It would steam me up and help keep me awake. Liberal host if your a conservative will work equally well. Anything to make your blood boil.
Also some good old fashion metal music turned up LOUD along with lots of strong coffee!
