Yeah I agree "accessibility" is to quality reading like being "popular" in music is to being a quality and talented musician. Sure, there is crossover but one doesn't ever mean the other by default.

I can easily pick a side. I love Malazan more than anything so I automatically have bias against all other contenders. I do love tons of other fantasy though. I just haven't found anything I can truly get into like I did with Malazan. :-)
