Not the most knife friendly, you can still carry one though. For a regular member of the public it has to be and under 3 inches, non locking folding blade and a good reason to carry one, for example a work blade for construction workers. People who have done the DofE get to carry upto 4 inch blade with a lock I believe and that is the same for active serving military personal.
