Haha funny/sad example...just had a friend who works as an artist in Jackson Square (I'm in New Orleans) say that the state (not the IRS, but, the tax collecting @$$holes) was investigating artists like him who were receiving unemployment to make sure they were not also making and not reporting income from selling their art. The investigators were requesting bank account statements, statements from any payment processors like Stripe, etc. These are people who literally sit outside in the sun all day with their art displayed on the fence. Gotta make sure they aren't cheating the government!

If they even make plans to hang out it’s attempted murder.
