How do you choose what story you're going to follow up on?

This particular one sounds so absurd that I can't imagine taking the time to follow up on it and yet here it is.

Were you at all skeptical? How did that process go?

I do wish that one didn’t have to sell their soul to the box office to make a low-budget film

You can either sell it inside the industry gaining experience or you can sell it to a 9-5 job that gives you zero applicable experience on your resume.
