I’m currently sitting on a $13K bill for using my GI Bill because the VA couldn’t be bothered to contact the school to get their money back themselves.

This is part of the problem too. Too many of us vets don’t know or understand our benefits because the “system” doesn’t do a good enough job of helping us understand, especially during transition assistance briefings. All three portions of TAPS class were such a joke. But hey, the base filled that congressionally mandated box, so we should be good (sarcasm).

Have you ever noticed a fall-off point with the price as the flight gets closer because the airline is trying to fill seats? What are good indicators that this will happen?
