No. People who couldn't swim or had trouble were seperated into more intensive training. They also had to wake up earlier than everyone else and go to the pool for lessons almost everyday until they passed. For this they were reffered to as "swimmers".

Race had nothing to do with it but there were more blacks than whites in those groups. I would say it's because most came from inner cities with not a lot of opportunities to learn to swim. Source: Graduated Feb.2008

Duty days sucked. I was on a DDG for 3 years. We normally had 6 section duty but on deployment or holiday stand down it was 3. How many duty sections did you have?

Me to but ours you had to pay to get in. Also most city pools are not very deep.
