I am very sorry for your loss and hope this gets noticed more since it was posted at a very early time for the majority of reddit.

I've seen a women stab her husband to death when I was 14, and later on in the military held my friend in my arms as he was dying. It took forever to come to grips with both cases but thankfully I had a good support group. My questions to you are:

How hard was it for you to come to terms with your fathers death and eventually heal?

Did you have a good support group or was there too much grief in the family?

What would you say to your fathers killer if you had a chance?

Thank you for doing this AmA and I wish you the best in your future.

When I worked as security at a casino we never caught anyone in the elevators, but we did catch some hiding and fucking in the auditorium. We also caught a lot of people peeing in the hallways of the hotel.

I'm so sorry that your father had to pay such a heavy price for what he did. Our judicial system is beyond fucked up. My father was arrested for manufacturing meth, assaulting the swat team, and possession of narcotics/weapons. He only served 8 years.

My question is: Do the prisoners treat your dad any differently for why he is in there? Many prisoners have a code, certain things make you earn or lose respect, and I was wondering if they treated your dad better because of the lengths he went to save family.
