If I can expand on this for soon to be surfers.... or hopeful at least. It's not horrible, it's just extremely frustrating. Persistence is key.... when I first learned I spent insane hours in the water. One day I just got it.... seriously like a light bulb went off. It was like a liquid conveyor belt. It was a small but perfect wave and I couldn't help but laugh that I spent so much time trying to fight the wave. It'll happen....you'll get it. Every surfer has a similar story. Warning though.... once you get it, it's really really hard to let go.

I was a guy who jumped in head first and bought it all.... went the expensive route. Now I do brew in a bag on a $1500 system lol. Research brew in a bag. It's a ton of fun and far less cleanup..... IMO
