We don't think we deserve special treatment. Rather, we think that ANY industry/field that can perform work more safely should, especially those that pack many people into enclosed spaces and keep them there for hours on end. Teaching can, in many instances, succeed remotely, even if not to the same degree. All workers deserve whatever protections we can afford them.
