As a Canadian growing up in the early days of the internet, I had to explain to many Americans that Canadians don't live in igloos.

Except for when people ignore the beeping. There's nothing worse than having someone remove a basket of fries 10 seconds early and nobody bothers to stop the "PULL" beeping noise. Though having two or three going off at staggered intervals can be melodic.

At the McDonald's I work at, unless it's peak hours (11am-1pm or 5pm-7pm) I would honestly suggest asking for your order to be made fresh. Chances are the Angus has been sitting there for at least an hour, the crispy chicken has probably been there longer, grilled chicken is iffy, and the strips for the snack wrap are usually cold and dry.
