I have done, yes.

It's a fair question I get asked all the time! It still has the same effect as well as giving me extra energy to do day-to-day things. My girlfriend doesn't seem to mind though.

I try.

Edit: The joke went way over my head. Apologies, I am an idiot.

Edit #2: Here's my original comment, because I am of course but an innocent child;

I'm sorry if I come across as stupid but I'll split your question into 2 parts as I feel it will be easier to answer. But I will just say that the Viagra doesn't fill the hole. /u/IOnlyUpvoteSelfPosts very nicely in the original thread here But anyway.

  1. Other medications - It depends on the circumstances of your hole. For me, I have other complications. So someone like me could have any number of PDE5-Inhibitors. I also used to take dipyridamole[3] . For other permutations of holes, you could have anti-platelet medications, and things like Bosentan and Warfarin. But I'm not very familiar as to how they work.

  2. You can fill the hole if it's found at a young age, or if you don't have any complications. Unfortunately (or fortunately...I'm fine as I am) I was too old when they found it to operate on, and I have complications which make it a very complex operation to do now. They'd do that using some kind of material (honestly I'm not sure what it is...gauze probably) that simply plugs the hole to stop blood flowing through the heart the wrong way.

I'm trying to think of a witty response...hmm...
