Hi Ruhlman! I saw you first on No Reservations years ago in undergrad and was so glad you went to a Skyline (albeit grudgingly). I'm south of you, but my parents live in Cleveland... And as a classmate is getting married up there the 20th, would you want to get Skyline coneys on the 21st? That would be awesome. If not... yeah I probably wouldn't meet an internet stranger for coneys, either. But consider it, at least!

Wow, I didn't actually expect a response. Thanks for being so gracious! I hope the new app goes well.

A legitimate AMA question, then: given your previous exposure on television, do you ever wish you'd gone all celebrity crazy to make the millions? I know I appreciate your sticking around and continuing to support Cleveland and its food culture. And thanks again for doing the AMA.

Defamation of a public figure is the same, only with required malice and demonstrable damages/harm to reputation. You don't get carte blanche just bc someone's famous. And they didn't get "out-lawyered," as OP pointed out, it was gawkers attorneys that went all-out.

I thought it would sound strange if I asked Ruhlman to enjoy a 3-way with me. They're damn delicious, though.
