The asker may be referring to the fake illness of dishonest "patients." Like people who complain of "chronic back pain" specifically to get legal weed. I know people who do this. Since your pain tolerance can't be felt by others, there's no way for a doctor to tell you you're not in pain. And when weed is miraculously the ONLY thing that helps your pain, the doc is obligated to write a script. So, OP, have you ever known or suspected someone who faked an illness to get pot?

I live in WA. You need a script from a doc to buy it at the dispensary. So they are related.
