Oh boy this brings back memories. I have 2 much older siblings who were pretty open to me about sex education (child appropriate of course). In third grade I drew pictures of "naked people" with friends and wrote things like "mama and papa have sex" next to it. We were giggling a lot and showed it to our classmates. The drawings vanished over night and all our parents were informed. We had to have a talk at the principals office and swear to never draw these things again and never talk about it with our classmates because they apparently weren't as far as we were. Felt pretty bad and embarassed about this and learned at this age that its taboo to talk about it.

How to deal with family members that go through depression right now and aren't able to/don't want to get the help they desperately need? How can I help and also how can I stay sane myself while dealing with them?
