From an academic perspective I understand and agree with your decision. Some (most) of them are rather obscure and require further looking up just to grasp the notions expressed.

On the other side, from a mythological and narrative perspective, they are quite stylish and provide a deeper layer of cultural understanding through the images and symbols chosen to form them.

I tried creating new ones that would fall in place with the original ones, in terms of style, but easier to understand for people unfamiliar with them. And it was quite challenging, but also fun.
