I clicked the link, then remembered that NSFW version and panicked. I never thought I'd be so happy to see a bagpiper when I was expecting lesbians.

That's really funny. I mean, I understand that most people, even bigtime musicians, get nervous. It's understandable. Tenacious D is all about the over-the-top confidence, so it's funny to imagine them getting nervous then going out there and singing about how they're the greatest band ever and whatnot.

The silence suggests that it didn't work out.

What about Ghosts and The Social Network?

I'm with you. I loved the graphic novel, but it clearly wasn't something that could directly translate into a tidy 2 hour movie. I thought they did a great job of distilling it down to the main points.

In fact, I think the ending was genius(Manhattan instead of tentacle monster) and probably worked better.
