Maybe he chooses scissors since everyone else chooses paper expecting him to choose rock. But then, maybe they know that he chooses scissors expecting them to choose paper so they themselves choose rock. But only a great fool would choose rock against the rock himself, so he can clearly not choose paper.

Wait a minute? Are you telling me I can be a jedi? Where do I sign up?

It's not "free" it's just using your interest as payment instead of direct money.

The wikipedia article says

"Corporate members pay an initiation fee of $27,500, and individual members pay $10,000 in addition to annual dues, which are about $6,100 or $3,500, respectively. Initiation and dues may change annually."

That makes it sound like corporate member are 27,500 up front and 6,100 annually, while individual memberships are 10,000 up front and 3,500 annually. That's different than what you say.

Is the wiki wrong? Where do the 6,100 and 3,500 come from?

Not Alex, but it is difficult in these situations to think about what the right comparison should be. For example, maybe more black children are born out of wedlock due to the systemic discrimination they faced (money problems, stress, education, etc.). If you simply "control" for that you are essentially wiping out part of the effect of the thing you are trying to measure. Similar issues when you think about crime.
