I'm genuinely curious, as well. I have Type 1 Diabetes and I haven't donated blood since my diagnosis at 24. I'm still registered as an organ donor, although I don't expect for my organs to be used because of the extensive damage diabetes causes.

I wonder if I can still donate blood since a pancreas-positive body could respond appropriately to a higher blood glucose level post-infusion?
