Also, they've still not provided any new evidence that would prompt the sudden definitive statement that "all is lost".

As an outsider, I felt the timing of that announcement had more to do with competing with the "allied" search efforts, whose news briefings had just visibly moved to being Australian-led rather than led by the Malaysian govt.

A scheduled press conference for the following day was cancelled to make this rush announcement.

It was made before ensuring all the families had been told in person that all aboard had supposedly perished - with no evidence of same.

AND they did this when the international search was already shifting focus south - no significantly new news.

As I said, the timing seemed - to me - to be motivated by saving face that they were in control of the investigation.

Reddit can be an amazing place, but it has some dark corners. As a mom, I hope your son stays away from those dark corners til he's strong enough in the force to handle himself :)

Cellulitis is potentially life-threatening if it spreads to your blood and lymph nodes. Please do exactly as the doctors have advised, and if the red swollen area does not decrease in size with the meds you were given, go back to the doctor.
