Came here to ask that question.

1 you’ve provided no proof of your graduating from there.

2 you’ve provided no proof of your travels and identity

3 horrible English (that’s so extra??) while having a common east coast American name and do not type or construct sentences as an American

4 you claim you’re not a linguist yet you teach English and minored in Japanese

5 you don’t know politics yet you graduated from a private American university in DC and majored in international relations. And you didn’t know much about or even discuss the situation beyond “want peace” - well you’d have been taught about the Cold War. You would have had a grasp on the basics of Russian American relations and Russian involvement in Eastern Europe and you have no position / avoided questions on Russian influence in the region.

5 you’ve espoused learning about Ukranian culture yet completely washes over or neglected to mention the real reason The Ukraine is offensive and Ukrainians - especially in the western parts - don’t like it and why Ukraine is not referred to itself using THE anywhere in any official document : It implies that Ukraine can only be defined by its relation to its larger neighbor, Russia, and the years of domination it suffered under Moscow during the eras of Soviet Union and the Russian Empire before that. Calling Ukraine "the Ukraine" questions its sovereignty: a fraught thing after Russia's annexation of Crimea and support for rebels in eastern Ukraine.

So you’re telling me an unidentified graduate who is American who speaks unlike American in their narrative, who studied and teaches languages yet does not identify as a linguist - and isn’t or not involved or knowledgeable about politics (especially were they are teaching.) having graduated from an international relations program doesn’t know the basics of the country where they are teaching or much about the situation there to give an opinion. Going so far as to generalize it and discount talking about it.

You won’t even mention where you’re teaching currently.

Yeah. That’s why I call bullshit. Either you’re lying or this is a marketing effort. But I’d bet the house and feel safe in that bet by saying your name Sure as shit isn’t Connor and you’re not from the east coast. Nothing makes sense when you apply basic logic to your story. You’re being purposefully vague and pro Ukraine while also not being critical or discussing in detail from the perspective of an American your views when asked even thought you said political views aren’t representative of the PC - which should allow you to say your personal feelings on it without issue. But you stated you don’t have any as you’re not an expert. So? I’m not an expert on donuts but I know Honey chocolate dip is better than plain or onion sour cream dipped.

Oh and you’re not an expert on wars or war. But you’d have an opinion or perspective having graduated from an international relations school having learned the history. But you don’t because your entire story isn’t jiving.

Don’t know which org you work for but I bet you like vodka more than bourbon and if I said the word Basta you’d think something other than A pornstars lawyer.

God I love this shit.

What university did you graduate from? What area of Ukraine are you teaching in? If you’re in Ukraine and aren’t knowledgeable about Russian influence, what is your perception of the media and news and how they present information in general?

It’s actually because that was the Russian Soviet designation and to say The Ukraine means you probably have sensitivity toward pro Russian politics or believe Ukraine should be part of Russia.

I’m surprised someone who wishes people can learn about the culture wouldn’t know that. Unless you positioned it the way you did to answer but not answer completely and honestly. But you did state the convenient “non political” organization while at the same time state that your views do not represent the peace corps.

so many contradictions. Hard to keep track /s
