Speaking of the election of 1800, how do you feel about the musical Hamilton?

Not my type of game, not because of the subject matter but because I don't really do drinking and the mechanics aren't to my taste. That said, I'm glad you're finding success with the crowd who'll enjoy it!

My question is: how much blowback and negative press have you gotten for your game? Has it been enough to make you question your decisions? Did the social statement play any part in your decision to make your game, or was it completely tangential to your production?

How do you feel about the amount of funding the military currently receives, and what do you say to those who suggest moving at least a portion of it elsewhere?

I read Oryx and Crake for an honors English class my freshman year of college, with a focus on dystopia and utopias. I loved the book, and its reasoned extrapolation of current science to a logical yet somewhat fantastical conclusion. I've been trying to find the time to reread and to read the rest of the series, but alas, haven't been able to. I guess my question is twofold:

1) Do you think Oryx and Crake would look significantly different if you were writing it now, nearly a decade and a half later?

2) Do you have other dystopian novels that you're particularly fond of, or took special influence from, or would otherwise recommend for somebody looking to get into the genre?
