I'm a Coca-Cola employee myself and we have had employees get fired for eating at competitors establishments or drinking competitor product.

Edit: should clarify I'm talking about in uniform but in their own personal vehicles.

I completely agree. Internet anonymity talking, I try to stay away from most of our products. Unhealthy and expensive as hell.

As a Coke employee myself, you're going to get fired for that.

I misread and thought he was talking about on the clock/ in uniform. It seems he was actually talking about off the clock out of uniform which we won't get fired for although like he said, it is discouraged. We've had employees who drove through the Taco Bell drive thru for lunch while at work (in their personal vehicles) get fired because Taco Bell was owned by PepsiCo at the time (I don't think they own it anymore, could be wrong).
