Your comment here should show everyone who had been critical of whether you 'tried hard enough' for custody that the cards were totally stacked against you. I've seen men who have a home, steady income, no criminal record, etc., lose custody battles. If she at least had a roof over her head and you didn't, your odds of gaining custody were nearly nil. And as you said, two months is just a drop in the bucket to how long those battles can go on. I am so sorry that this has happened to you and I wish you strength and healing. But don't question yourself about custody attempts, no matter what is posted here. Please hang in there.

I know I am way late to the AMA, so I doubt I'll get an answer, but I have to ask: have any of you seen the Frasier episode where Frasier and Niles take an item to the road show because they think they are descended from royalty, only to find that their ancestor was actually a 'trampy' servant who stole the artifact? If not please catch it on Netflix, maybe when you're on the road (show)...they even turn AR into a drinking game, drink whenever someone on the show says 'veneer'! Funny you mention thanksgiving! In college I had my wisdom teeth removed the day before thanksgiving. Not my wisest move. I ate only jello and pain meds.

Off-topic, but I was playing a carnival game at the local casino last night and my favorite (and Asian) dealer gave a straight flush to the guy next to me to the tune of $20k, and I got in on the envy. She's also dealt the highest winning hand I've ever had there. She is focused, professional, and by the book.
