It literally means he's good at his job. People come to these things for the purpose of getting scared. Because of that, reminders are given that, "if you have a heart condition..blah blah blah." They also have medical staff on site for people that don't know their own health or scare threshold.

Asking why he is proud, is like asking some ice cream legend why she is proud when her product causes diabetes.

It's not the intrinsic value of them getting heart attacks, obviously it is because it indicates he is good at his job, which is to scare people. Quit trying to make it something it is not.

If you think it is cruel to scare people, remember that customers come here to get as scared as possible, and they are fully warned what could happen if they have heart issues.

If it is Halloween and one haunted house in the area has the rep of having caused heart attacks, that will be the most popular HH easy. Scary as possible is literally what the costumers demand.

I doubt even the people that got heart attacks chastised the haunted house.

I do see people on r/adhd talk all the time of sensory sensitivity, but yeah, that is just people talking. Some sounds can drive me crazy (anything that approximates a metronome, dripping water, second hands, etc). But also, i cant stand when a location, usually commercial, has two different songs playing simultaneously. Even if they are both pretty quiet.
