Hello to both of you - I'm an audio engineer who work with a few SAG-AFTRA vocal contractors (primarily opera singers, but a few VO folks as well) and I'm curious what changes you experienced over the pandemic with recording protocol and feedback from producers?
We had quite a few instances on the last Call of Duty game where parts needed to be re-recorded 3-4 times because the choir wasn't able to be in the same room, leading to various issues along the way. Was it similar for you in which not having other VO actors to bounce your energy off of made the process harder, or were you able to dial in even more and focus on just your part?

You have the proportions down my man! All of my friends from Germany were all about the heavy spliffs, 50/50 generally and they're always too much for me. Personally when I burn spliffs I go right around 80/20 to 90/10. Good shit man!
BTW I saw a Grizmatik show in Chicago a year or so back and it was one of my all-time favorite performances I've seen. Really appreciate your live sets!

He's been vocal about Switch's departure from Major Lazer, Switch doesn't finish songs, he's great for ideas, but doesn't follow through. I guess Switch sees music as more of a hobby and Diplo sees it more as a career/hustle.

Thanks for the insight! I would have assumed that there is some interaction in the studio, but makes sense now that I think about it.

I see that in a few comments you reference smoking weed. I have a few questions that have floated through my mind on a few stoney nights.
Can you roll your own joints/blunts? If so, what is the process and how is it different from when you had your vision (assuming you smoked before losing your vision)
When you buy, is the smell more important to you than anything else or are you selective about the bud you buy at all?
Lastly, how does the high effect you without vision?
Your story is amazing. Unfortunate, but amazing, I'm sure you've inspired a lot of people in your community. You seem like a great guy who's making the best out of a shitty situation. Thanks for sharing your story, and best of luck to you in the future.
