i feel like in Diplo's case he is too busy to sit there and perfect every single synth and drum to make a high quality track. and it seems he returns the favor for the uncredited work by signing\promoting\networking them thru mad decent.

I highly doubt he's buying premade fully completed tracks from people like ive read other artists in mat zo's list do. Diplo is definitely a talented producer, i think hes just over long nights alone in the studio

I'd have to rewatch it, but I think all but one or two of the songs in the documentary are on his most recent EP. I also believe Clang was one of the documentary songs, which he put on his soundcloud for free awhile back
