Also, what route did you take (education wise) to becoming a fast jet pilot?

Would you say that, given time and attentive teachers, you can teach the average 10 year old the maths of the GCSE (in the UK) - an exam we do at 16 years old?

I've often wondered about this, since a lot of people have issues with maths which (imo) could be solved with small classes, Etc.
